EVA by Tomas Absolon

Start date: 05 LUGLIO 2017

eva

Grand Tour presents a new collaboration between Czech artist Tomas Absolon and typographer Jan Horcik curated by Domenico De Chirico. The exhibition is comprised of Absolon paintings and an artists’ book designed in collaboration with Horcik, published by Raw Raw Edizioni for Grand Tour. The exhibition and book revolve around careful observation of the shapes of contemporary visual culture. The underlying patterns observed in these shapes are slowly transformed into letters, then words (almost), striving to make the contemporary readable (somehow).
